Play Stone ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Translator application (the "App"). Please read this privacy policy carefully. Important Notice: The App offers an optional AI-powered translation feature that you can enable or disable in the App settings. When you enable this feature, your text input and screenshots may be sent to third-party AI service providers for enhanced translation capabilities.

  • The text content you input for translation
  • Screenshots or images you upload for image translation
  • Language preferences and translation settings

Who Receives Your Data: When you enable the AI translation feature, your data is sent to third-party AI service providers. The specific providers currently used include:

  • OpenAI: For AI-powered text and image translation services
  • Google Cloud Translation API: For machine translation services

Additional AI Services: We may integrate additional AI service providers to enhance translation capabilities. When new AI services are added, they will be disclosed in the App settings before you enable or use them. You will always have the option to review which specific AI services are being used before enabling the AI translation feature.

User Consent and Control:

  • The AI translation feature is disabled by default
  • You must explicitly enable this feature in the App settings
  • You can disable the AI translation feature at any time in the App settings
  • When disabled, no data will be sent to third-party AI services

Data Protection by Third Parties: We have contractual agreements with all third-party AI service providers that require them to provide the same or equal level of data protection as outlined in this privacy policy. The Data is kept for the time necessary to provide the service requested by the User, or stated by the purposes outlined in this document. You can always request that we suspend or remove your data.

6. Third-Party Services

6.1 Google Firebase

This Application uses Google Firebase for analytics and crash reporting. Firebase may collect and process Personal Data including device information, usage data, and crash logs to help improve the Application.

6.2 Third-Party AI Services

As detailed in Section 2.2, when you enable the optional AI translation feature, your data may be sent to OpenAI and Google Cloud Translation API. These services are governed by their respective privacy policies and terms of service.

7. Children's Privacy

Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to take necessary actions.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this Privacy Policy.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.

If a User objects to any of the changes to the Policy, the User must cease using this Application and can request that we remove the Personal Data.
